The Atomic Aquatics SubFrame Mask is so durable, it carries a Lifetime
warranty against frame breakage. The strength comes from the internal frame
(subframe) molded directly beneath the surface of the silicone rubber skirt
(patent pending). This subframe provides incredible strength and rigidity as
well as eliminating the bulky external plastic frame in other masks. A stainless
steel retainer locks the lenses in place and provides added strength to the nose
bridge area of the mask. A wide field of view and great fit completes the
combination of function, style and durability.
SubFrame Mask Features
ULTRACLEAR Lenses
Both the Atomic Frameless and SubFrame models offer a new standard feature never seen or "seen through" before in a diving mask. We call them UltraClear lenses.
What makes UltraClear special? Did you ever notice that normal dive mask lenses have a green tint to the glass? To see this tint, put your existing mask up to a piece of white paper and see for yourself. The green tint you see is the result of iron impurities left over in lower quality "float" or window type glass. That green tint distorts true colors and blocks out some of the light that reaches the eye.
UltraClear is a new and exciting optical quality glass with exceptional clarity and high light transmission, with no color distortion. The exceptionally high light transmittance and lack of distortion in the UltraClear lens maximizes the light available for improved visual acuity, especially underwater in low light conditions.

The Atomic SV2 snorkel is a high specification snorkel that
combines a purge valve lower section with a sleek looking semi dry top
with horizontal vents that diffuse splashed water that would normally freely
enter the top.
The semi dry top has small gaps between the vanes of the vent on
the SV2 that restrict water speed and droplet size which causes most of the
splashed water to exit the valve via the special vents, helping to keep the
snorkel clear.
The snorkel tube is profiled and contoured to hug the side of the
head which helps to reduce drag and buffeting as you swim through the water. The
tube is fitted with a quick disconnect keeper that can slide up and down for
optimal vertical positioning and also rotate for better mouthpiece
orientation.
The lower section contains a one way purge valve that allows water
to drain our naturally under gravity or be forced out by exhaling sharply. The
mouthpiece is made from a high grade silicone to ensure it is soft and
comfortable.

The Zephyr Flex is a corrugated snorkel, with an elliptical purge valve and an
anti-shock soft splashguard. The unique construction uses two materials, one
rigid to prevent collapse and the other soft to allow flexibility which reduces
pressure on the diver’s mouth. Thanks to the elliptical purge valve, the Zephyr
Flex creates a seal against incoming water and makes easy work of purging water
away. The anatomically-designed silicone mouthpiece reduces jaw fatigue and the
soft splashguard top helps to reduce water entry at the surface in choppy
conditions. The ergonomic snorkel retainer is easy to operate, even with thick
gloves.
